A cruel joke - Someone or something has played a cruel joke on my husband and me. I got the results from my second beta test back today.

My HCG level went up to 27. That is 2 points higher than 5 days ago. My progesterone dropped to 14. It was 37. I didn't ask about estrogen. It isn't important. I am not pregnant.

I am numb. I "knew" it from the start, but hearing it and thinking it are two different things.

When I called my husbad, all he could say was why is this happening to us?

I couldn't answer.

I am waiting once again....waiting for AF to show.

We have a consult with the RE this Friday.
